South Coast Church is alive and kickin!

Today at 10:30 am in Mobile AL South Coast Church held the first service at ER Dickson Elementary School. When I looked out over the people that gathered to worship with us my heart was overflowing with thankfulness to God.

The amazing thing about this event is there were people there from each and every stage of my journey to where I find myself today...the pastor of SCC. New friends, old friends, family and complete strangers (soon to be new friends!) We have such a sense of expectancy of what God is about to do in Mobile through SCC. We talked about living a HIGH IMPACT LIFE!

You can live a High, Low or Absolutely No Impact life! Take a second and check your fruit...yes you can inspect your own fruit...is it good? Do something great for Jesus...right now! Live the High Life...High Impact Life.

Update on SCC

Just wanted to update everyone on what is happening with the Breland Family & SCC. Over the last 2 months we have been moving, praying, studying, meeting, planning, fundraising, ministering, outreaching and loving each and every minute of it! God has given us a heart for the people of Mobile and we are so honored to be out each day meeting and connecting with wonderful people that share a desire to love and serve. There have been no shortage of miracles...God is performing them each and every day. We feel His Mighty Hand guiding us! Needless to say we are living a very highly caffeinated these days and would not have it any other way!

I have been standing on Jeremiah 1:10 for many months and I believe God IS ready to perform that word. We are "TO BUILD AND TO PLANT" South Coast Church in Mobile and with God "all things are possible"!

As you know we are EXACTLY one week out from our first service to be held on Sunday, September 12th, 10:30 AM at ER Dickson Elementary School in Mobile AL...Come One Come ALL! This will be a special day as we gather together for the first time to worship as South Coast Church on a Sunday morning! Come ready for powerful service of worship, The Word, great kids service, nursery and of course FREE STARBUCKS & SWEETS!

***SPECIAL SERVICE UPDATE***
After prayerful consideration and much Godly counsel we have made the decision to designate Sunday September 12 & 19 as "PREVIEW SERVICES".
On Sunday September 26th we will have our widely publicized "OFFICIAL LAUNCH SERVICE" in Mobile, AL.

Shopped for the Nursery!

Gotcha!!! Tracy and I spent part of the day at Babies R Us.  Very familiar territory for us...remember we had 5 kids in just over 5 1/2 years.  Our oldest turns 18 in just a few days...the years have flown!  Stop freaking out...we were not getting ready for #6...we are getting ready for the launch of South Coast Church!  It was so fun picking out baby stuff for the Beach Baby Nursery at South Coast Church.

Cannot wait for families to connect with SCC in the coming weeks!

A Miracle A Minute

I have been alive 43 years and realize my life is one miracle right after another...just over 20 years ago I got a second chance to marry the most wonderful lady this side of heaven (BIG MIRACLE).  Now as a church planter I am reminded that God is confirming His word one miracle right after another.  If you are like me you don't have to think very long or look ver hard to realize that you are probably right in the middle of your most recent miracle.  Never take the small things for granted...they are miracles too!

Thank you God for working ALL THINGS together for my good!

Remember...its GREAT at the Coast....South Coast Church!

2 Weeks and Counting...wish I had a time machine!

Well...2 weeks from tonight we will have launched South Coast Church in Mobile, AL.  No, everything is not done...still many things undone but the sense of expectancy that I have is overwhelming.  There is no doubt that God has called us here "for such a time as this".  As a friend told us in Tulsa before we left..."God is building the testimony that this ministry will be founded on".  Tracy and I have witnessed one miracle after another...she says it best..."we are a miracle a minute".  I am a firm believer!

Lord, thank you for many more miracles for our family and the families of South Coast Church!

I guess the best place to start is the beginning...Now is the Time...This is the Place and You are the ONE.  That is it...the message is simple LOVE GOD...LOVE PEOPLE...Now, Where You Are and Yes...that means YOU!
